1. 2021 Copa America

Initially scheduled for 2020, the 47th edition of South America’s men’s football championship is finally starting from 13th June 2021 and will continue till 10th July 2021. The original tournament was due from June to July, but because of the pandemic, it was canceled for a year by CONMEBOL.

2. 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship

The 20th edition of the European international youth football championship is one of the most awaited football tournaments the world is looking forward to this year. This annual tournament is organized by the UEFA (The Union of European football association).

The original tournament was scheduled between 30th June to 13th July 2021 but was called off, most certainly, due to the pandemic.

Also, Romania was scheduled to host the UEFA Under-19 Euro 2021.

But things have changed, and Slovakia will be the new country to host the tournament. To participate in this championship, players born on or after 2003 are only eligible since it is an Under-18 competition.

3. UEFA Women Champion League Final

The winners of this international tournament will compete against the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League winners and qualify for the 2021 FIFA World Cup to be held in Japan.

The tournament was originally planned for 2020, but due to the global pandemic, it was called off for a year. Now it has finally reached its final. Also this year, four new teams made their debuts in the competition: Istanbul. Krasnodar, Rennes and Midtjylland.
