Shakib Missed The Dhaka Test For His Injury

Shakib Al Hasan was injured in the last ODI against West Indies. He went down to play the last Test as nothing serious was found in the medical report. Shakib Al Hasan batted well on the first day of the Chittagong Test. He made an impeccable inning of 68 runs with the bat. He also bowled six overs. But on the second day, Shakib Al Hasan got injured again. For which he has to get up from the field. Shakib did not come on the field on the third day. BCB medical team confirmed his injury after an MRI scan.

Although he recovered from the old injury, Shakib got injured again during the 1st Test. Like the first injury, his groin is tense again. But this time, there is tension in other places. Shakib will not be able to play the second Test in Dhaka due to this injury. The BCB medical team will assist him all the time to recover the injury quickly.

After the first innings of the first Test, Shakib Al Hasan could not bat in the second innings due to his injury. He bowled just six overs in the first innings due to injury. When he got up from the field, Yasir Ali came on the field as his replacement. The BCB said that his previous injury had healed, but he suffered another injury to his left thigh in the first Test. The BCB president does not want to take any risk with the world’s best all-rounder. So he dropped out of the second Test after the first. He was rested for the next tour of New Zealand. Now the absence of Shakib in the first Test is seen as the main reason for the rate. The BCB has not yet announced who will replace Shakib in the second Test in Mirpur.
